The Pinks in Charge! car is a standard 1977, 3.5L V8 2-Door Range Rover that was used as a daily run-around.
Last year, the car was prepared for competition specification by Glenn Mathews 4WD Maintenance.
This year, Anthony Nielsen has worked his magic and the car has been transformed. Here are some of the modifications we have made:
- Engine - We did a complete engine overhaul, including new bearings, gaskets, piston rings and main bearings.
- Complete gearbox overhaul with new bearings and gaskets.
- New clutch plate and pressure plates
- New tie rods, wheel bearings, steering damper
- New gauge panels inside the cabin
- Bucket seats
- and body modification to make things more comfortable for the runners
